I love my best friend and he knows that i like him and would like to have him as my boyfriend. But he doesn't want to, and we've vowed to stay friends no matter how rough it got. We're the best of friends now, we're not going out and i love him and he loves me. Things still work out if it was meant to be. Oh... and i'm not in the 7th grade either. LOL. I'm a sophomore in college.
 So i guess that's the only difference. I just wanted to let you know that its not hopeless. Things will work themselves out. It wasn't always easy.. but we worked on it and we wouldn't let our friendship die. It depends on what you guys want to do...

I may be wrong but it sounds like you kinda also want your shot at popularity...
 And If you're in 7th grade you probably don't LOVE him! Love is more than just a major crush... I've had many of those where it hurts you want them so bad... but guess what?? There is good news... you'll get over him and move onto someone better. Someone who wants to be with you so bad it hurts... don't settle for someone you think you love but doesn't love you back... you deserve better than that!
