I agree. I don't think its okay to use gay like that, unless you really do mean happy, or homosexual. Its just rediculous to attatch such negative connotation to the word. Besides, there are so many other words that you can use, and maybe even show that you have a little intelligent. Like I could have said gay but I said rediculous. See? How easy was that?

Refuring to something bad being gay is totally stupid..

My friend always is like, 'That is so gay' I want to chock her everytime she says it.. I have friends that are 'homosexuals' and I find it grr, annoying.

Yeah one of my friends got me hooked on using "gay" out of context so it sort of became a habit that I wasn't really aware of. But for the past few months I've been trying to use less of it, if not use it all. I guess it kind of annoys me when people use it but nowadays so many words get used out of context, just like the word pimp (we all know what it really means but now it can be used as "pimp my ride" ...etcetera) that I don't really realize it or I don't really care if it is.

i HAVE to be honest. i do use gay to say something is bad, stupid, wrong, etc. i know its wrong but, its just a habit. i dont say it cuz i think its cool. i just say it w/o thinking. my friends say it too. oh and even my gay/les/bi friends say it..they dont even care. no one has ever said that it affended them. if they would then i would try not to say it or at least around them...

It doesn't really irritate me... if someone says, "yah that song is gay" i'm like, "yah i think so too" or somethan. It's too small of a thing in life to get all annoyed about, lol
