Even rape? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??? though i have never been raped before, i highly doubt it is a pleasant experience. In all other cases, the girl decides to have sex but in rape she is forced. no one, NO ONE, should have to go through that. what if the mother's life is in danger? Does it really make sense to kill a mother for the sake of a child who hasn't even been born yet? I'm not saying that killing the child isnt wrong, but isnt making a mother have a child that she ABSOLUTLY does not want or KILLING the mother (because she was raped or she will die if she has the child) a little bit worse?

What is wrong with you? i know that rape is probably the absolutely worst thing could ever happen to a person, but if she absolutely doesn't want the child then why doesnt she give it up for adoption. then something good could come out of something that was really terrible. and if the mother was going to die if she had the baby, ya know if ya have an abortion there's always that chance u could die. its not that uncommon. and then what happens if the mother dies neway? i say the mother should have the baby. think of it this way. if u had a child and they were about to be shot wouldn't you do nething in order to save them? wouldn't you protect them? i know i would.

i understand what u mean but all im saying is that there will ALWAYS be an exception. it might be one in a million but there is still that one small chance. my point is, dont COMPLETELY outlaw abortion, just make it REALLY hard for someone to get one.

I don't think I, or anybody, could make that decision until they were in that kind of sittuation... I believe, like a lot of other people, that if the choice is there then you can choose whether or not to use it.

I am absolutely pro-choice as well. I personally would only get an abortion under serious circumstances, i.e. rape or really bad pregnancy complications.

I do not think the concept of abortion in itself is terribly wrong, but I simply cannot agree with anyone willing to undergo an abortion because of a decision they themself made.

if sumn bad happened to me, id get an abortion. i wouldnt have the baby and put it up for abortion. there are too many kids up for adoption and not enough families for them to go to.

i don't really think about this stuff unless it happens to me and i have to deal with it, but since your asking it all depends on the situation, age etc. like a 12 year old girl got raped and got pregnant or the family and the father of the child aren't willing to help. or a girl had unprotected sex and knew what she was getting into. like i said it depends on the situation. so i can't really say BUT if it was me i wouldn't abort or even give up for adoption. << but it's easier to say that really. but this is just my opinion not a "fact"

i used to think abortion was wrong, but at 15 i couldnt imagine having something growing inside of me. its just. no. i dont like the idea of it. plus i mean, if abortion was so wrong, it would already be illegal. its someones choice on keeping a baby or not. at 15, i would get an abortion. but as i got to like 18 i wouldnt by then, i should be able to take care of the baby. i dont know. i change my mind alot.

Abortion should be left to the individual girl to decide and they should not be judged by their decision. period. I used to be against abortion but it's not until your put in that situation can you be the one to judge. Girls should have protected sex, your foolish not to. I've never been pregnant but there was several times when I thought I could be due to unprotected sex and it was such a scarey feeling. And at 14, having a baby was the last thing I wanted.

I believe abortion should be allowed and it should be left up to the pregnant woman to decide, no one else. There are a lot of people are against abortion but at what time does the baby begin to have a soul? Can it think? Can it feel pain or does it just react to stimulus? Tell me, do you remember being a baby? Yes it's a human life and yes the girl made a mistake but why have a child grow up in a bad environment? I personally wouldn't have an abortion because I feel I'm old enough that if I became pregnant, that I could handle having a baby. Very young girls should totally have a choice!

Both have equally valid points I think.
I do believe that abortion is wrong which is why I, myself would never choose to do it. But on the other hand I do not believe I am the person to to say if it is right or wrong. I guess I am pro-choice. I woman has a right to do what she wants.

I don't know. I would never have sex outside of marriage, but if I did have sex outside of marriage then I would keep the child because I think people should lve with their mistakes. But, if I was raped that would be another story. Although I can never really say how I would react...

I dont agree with abortion at all. (certain personal reasons) and i would keep it. And if i couldnt raise it, give it up for adoption. The have certain types of adoption that where you can be apart of the childs life. Like you can tell the baby that u carried it then joined it with its family, like that was Gods plan. (saw it on lifetime) and i think that would be really neat. but if it was at all possible i would raise it my self if i could give it a decent life. But abortion.... no no no... in my opionion.... Its said that some mothers have nightmares because of it and some get really depressed, cuz there is a lot of guilt that the mother has to deal with. Im cuz there killing a unborn chold that they help concieve. Plus of personal reasons in my own life (i was almost aborted - not going into details) that would keep me from making that decision.

Same with me. Accept it was my biological father who was paying for it. The appointment was set and everything. but a friend talked her out of it the night before. So ive never meet my real father.(they were in college) Things like that definatly make you think. Its kinda scary. Think of all the aborted babys. What if one of them was suposed to cure cancer, or something great. Then you get cancer and hes not around to save you. Or that baby was suposed to be born a couple of months ahead of you, and if he would have you would have been happily married? Theres thousands of baby that have never got the chance to live outside of the mommies tummy.

This was written on the bathroom stall at my high school. It may seem a little rude to some of you, but i agree. "Dont f**k if your gonna kill the baby" its kinda commen sense. Sex produces a baby. If you arent ready for a child, dont want one, dont have sex. Thats why the bible says for sex to be in a marrige relationship, bcuz then the baby will have a home..

Abortion will not get rid of the fact that you were rapped. it will not get rid of the pain and hurt that comes from the fact that that happened to the mother. It probably only make it worse. Because then they have to live with the fact that they killed their baby. If she still doesnt want it at birth (which is a slim possiblity) then she could give it up for adaption. And there are other ways that could save the mom than aborting it. Theres C-sections and other procedures. And if shes at threat to die, and wasnt raped and is a teenager it is kinda her own fault for having sex.

But, for some women, having to give birth to a child that was the product of rape would just be too much to handle and yes, you could give it up for adoption. But if you didn't then you would always have that little reminder of your rape. It's the woman's choice (if they were raped.)

But, then what if they were raped at age ten or eleven....

Frankly, there's just to many what-ifs. We can't say what any of us would do until it happens to us. We don't know how our minds would react and hopefully we will never know.
