Don't you hate that??? Ugh I think it is soo annoying! Most of the times, it is n00bs and/or people trying to bring up their post count. All the say is some comment like, oh cool or yeah i agree.

ROAR it is happening a lot lately...especially in the picture forum wacko.gif

I guess I see what you mean..but I remember an old topic trish made...about how people get bashed for bringing back old topics and also get bashed for making a new topic that already exists

but yes its annoying when they intentionally bring up like 100 old topics.

Yes, well, that has been happening a lot lately in the debate forum... unfortunately, these people also fail to read the whole thread and just ignore points that were already observed.

<<<< annoyed. stubborn.gif

BUT, that's better than making a new topic that already exists! Which is much more annoying.

oh gosh, I remember that one..how sad. yes I totally agree, it is just pointless to bring back those topics unless they have something incredibly important to say without making a new topic.

It's okay if it's just a regular, old thread about your favorite color or something in the pictures like favorite shoes, but if it's something really particular....Like about a particular song, then it's annoying.

The newbs always bring back old threads in the girls' locker.

I don't see a problem with it, as long as it doesn't deal with ancient stuff. I mean, if it still applies to life TODAY, and people have something to say about it, why the hell not?

Except it does irk me when people bump up topics in the pictures forum. Now that's annoying.

i don't like it if the only thing they says is like, "awwe how kute!" or, "I agree".

OH and it the girl's locker or whatever when people are asking for advice from like last july and people bump it. the problem is resloved now. hopefully

it's weird really, because people tell you to use the search button, but then yell at you when you bring back old ones :/

Yeah, I agree.
It's okay if it's a general thing, but if someone's commenting on something half of a year old, then it's not necessary. I agree. I also hate it when people bring back a really old thread in pictures and say that it's not showing up. Ugh.

Same here.
There are about ten of them that regularly come around.

Yeah, to SOME topics. Like lipgloss topics and kissing topics in the girls locker room but the vector ones that were made months and months ago and the christmas or other holiday ones? come on..

i agree with everyone here. thats why i was thinking that all posts should be deleted after a certain (large) number of days, so no one can bump old topics again. but then i just thought that if that happened then ppl wont be able to search for old topics so they wont repost them. but it looks like no one is using that anyways so i really dont know.

as long as the topic is relevant to what is currently going on then i say every member is entitled to their opinion but like xxcrazyjewxx wrote dont let it be replys like "i agree", "ditto", or "dont care" or stuff thats months and months old

I am probably guilty of that blush.gif since I am a newb, but I don't do it to bring up my post count. I didn't even notice we had a post count for a couple of weeks(I'm ignorant), but I think maybe they just want to state their opinion, without starting a new post and having people tell them to use the search button. The cutting thing is annoying in the girls locker room! yeah, but if I'm one of the people you had in mind, I'm sorry! blush.gif sad.gif

Yeah, like I think they should do a search before making a topic, and yes, most deff read what people wrote, but DON'T MAKE A STUPID REPLY so it comes back on the first page.. grrr
