think about it, i know like 700 christians are gonna come and scream at me but think about it, he WAS middle eastern...and there is no proof he isnt...so if jesus was black....wouldnt that mean all society is wrong? AND THE WHITE MAN SHOULD BE ON BOTTOM? oh that would be fun...

shouldn't in theory, no one be on the bottom?? and i hate to say it, but i don't think most of the population would care what race jesus was(i'm a christian tho biggrin.gif ) I think there would still be racial..tension I guess. But yeah, I don't really think anyone is on the bottom, at least in my mind. But my town is kinda weird and like not racially divided at all, so I guess I don't count wink.gif

edit-..wasn't jesus jewish?

Uh, I think he meant that many colors is better than just one. As in, wouldn't a picture of a garden look prettier in lots of colors instead of just red. Just like wouldn't the world be better with lots of diversity, such as different skin colors. Just a thought. wink.gif

That's weird to say. Why should ANYONE be on the "bottom" there are plenty of people of all DIFFERENT colors living in poverty. I doubt Jesus' skin color has ANYTHING to do with that?! That is a correlation I've never heard of. Shouldn't this be in "debate" anyway?

i knew that...right...
and Come on people dont want there to be a Social Triangle but there is! People treat white people with respect. but most of those people wont treat another race with the same respect than they did with the white guy.

Then what you said in your first post isn't cohesive. First you said that Jesus was middle-eastern, then you said he's black. They aren't even relevant to each other.

And besides, from the fact that you said if Jesus was black, society would be all wrong, then you imply that being black makes society all wrong. And also, Jesus wouldn't care if people were black or not, so why the hell would it matter if Jesus was black, white, yellow, or purple? It wouldn't. Basically, your post revolves around racism; funny, considering how Jesus loves everyone.

And don't call me a poophead. No one's called me a poophead since third grade.

^ how do you know what Mary and Joseph looked like?

Does it even matter? It wouldnt make a difference to me whether he was black, white, or effing purple for that matter. Why even question it?

how many times did u just say "and also" but i'm just saying Jesus IS middle eastern but he MAY be black. and also ONE of the reasons why most whites r prominat or w/e is cuz of their belifes and most christains belive, jesus =white. i'm just saying their minds would get screwed up and that would mean that black people MAY be more successfull in life and RESPECT becuase of that.

Um, dude, can you count? I said "and also" once.

If Jesus IS Middle-Eastern, then how MAY he be black? You just contradicted yourself, genius.

The people who think Jesus is white because caucasians are the dominant (yeah, that's right, dominant, not prominent) race probably are bad Christians. If you were really a good Christian, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter at all if Jesus was black, or whatever colour, because you only believe in the goodness of Jesus, not the way he speaks, not the way he walks, eats, or his skin colour.

You can hardly blame this inequality of power between races on what race Jesus was, or what race Jesus is portrayed to be.

I have never encountered such bad or inaccurate backup support on someone's opinions. Ever.
