just curious, is jay-z filipino?

I was listening to Jay-Z's Ain't No N***a the other night and there was a part in the song where Jay says something about him being half black and filipino

Does anyone know for sure that he is pinoy?

Hmm, I'm not sure... If he said it, it might be. Check the lyrics to find out, but I'm still not sure.

those are probably the lyrics you're talking about, he's probably talking about this bag:

it's different shades of brown...like african americans and filipinos are supposed to be or something...

Yes, it's true. He's mixed with filipino. He's mentioned that he's half black half filipino more than once in his songs... but don't ask me what songs. tongue.gif Even Nas tried to diss him about his Black Album saying he wasn't even all black... which is f**ked up on Nas' part.


Did you guys know Enrique Iglesias is half filipino as well?

when he said half black, half filipino i thought he was referring to foxy brown...because she has the "asian" eyes.
