I have a boxed in xanga and I want to put my counter and the writing that is there, not boxed inside the xanga, but outside of the box, and I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Help would be much appreciated. _smile.gif

Have you tried putting your counter code and writing in your website stats? I don't have a boxed xanga so I don't know if it works or not.

Erm.... Put that stuff in a seperate div, which you then close and move around. Because that's pretty much the only way to do it, besides just putting it into your header above the div layer. =)

how exactly do I do that? I don't really know exactly how all of the div layer stuff works.

.......... =P Put your content where it indicates. The margin parts move it. Use any number you see fit.
CODE
<div align=left style="position:static; margin-left: -800px;margin-top: -600px; width: 150px; height: 300px; overflow: auto">
CONTENT GOES HERE
</div>

....... Put it directly after your image code, and above your stylesheet.

It doesn't work when I do that, and plus it messes with the way the whole xanga looks in general, and throws the balance off of it.

before putting in the counter code in websites stats, couldn't you put a </div> before it? that would close off the blog div and might keep that stuff out of the box? try that and tell me if it works.
