I know there was a topic on waxing just before, but I decided to make a new one since no-one replied to that one. I bought sugaring from the body shop too... and its so hard to use. it hurts so much cry.gif . Any advice, please tell me... I'm dying here. Trying to do it before my mum comes back... I'm home alone.

so you're doing it just because everyone else is...? huh.gif i think shaving would be just as effective... and who would know if you shaved or waxed anyway?

Tips for waxing:

1. Make sure skin is VERY dry. **important

2. If it's your first time, apply a thin layer of wax/sugar solution in a small area of the leg following hair growth direction.

3. At the bottom of the strip (closest to your foot), turn a small area back against the strip. It should be resting flat against the strip about to be removed.

4. Lift the end as instructed and quickly pull back toward you. Do not pull up. Pulling back is the correct procedure.

5. Biting your lip will help ease the pain. wink.gif

and btw cause ur friends are doing it, doesnt mean u are doing it. dont feel left out... if you dont want to get black dark hairy legs...then dont take ur risk doing it.. if you are asian, it will grow darker and thicker...it's nasty.

Hey guys.

There isn't a point to creating 3 different threads on the same topic of waxing.

Anyway, heck yea waxing will hurt... but it's only a sting and it does go away after a few seconds.

Have you ever tweezed (plucked) your leg hair? Do it. Pluck like a few.. like 5 of them. Tell me, does it hurt? Cause waxing's going to feel like that, but 100 times the amount, and all at once... Quick pain is better than long, slow pain.. pinch.gif Waxing.. yea tried that once.. PAINFUL imo.. Second time it didn't hurt as much anyway, since I was used to tweezing my leg hair.. whistling.gif haha after that I gave up haha.

Oh yea, and you don't need to make 2 usernames.
