elevator, traumatized... Options

wow. last night my friends and i went to the mall. we were lazy asses so we decided to take the elevator. we were standing around talking and laughing and blah. then after my friend pressed the level button, a strange voice [probably a man in his late 20s .. early 30s] says "...hello..." It was extremely freaky. I was looking around to see if there was somewhere in the elevator with us. Turns out, the voice came from a speaker inside the elevator. No one pressed the emergency button or anything...so i have no idea why he talked to us. We were screaming so loud. I told my dad about it and he started laughing and said that it was prolly a security guard that was watching us through a camera and wanted to play a trick on us. Still...its flippin scary!!!

well they had elevators in the parking lot of the mall, and we'd go up and down in them... but nothing too weird..

i don't go on elevators that much cuz i'm scared it's gonna get stuck but i do go on it in school cuz im too lazy to walk to the 4th floor.

Yeah actually it was really scary..

I was in the elivater me and my friend (we were at a hotel for a birthday party) and we decided to just ride the elevators and we were on the bottom floor and we decided we'd go to the top so we start to press the button..

Then we hear some guy yell "Hole the elivator!" so being the extremly nice and caring people we are (*cough* not *cough*) we open the elivator back up for him and his friend who run in (there probably like late 20's) and they just had this creepy look to them so I go "Hillary, you want to get off here?" and she nods and we start to get off.. then on of the guys puts his arm infront of us and says, "No you have to stay on and protect us!" and the doors have closed by now so we cant do anything.. and he starts saying stuff like "What floor are you ladies going to?" and we were like, "Um.. no floor impraticular.." and he was like "well then you should stay with us.." and one of the guys gets off at the second floor and we just ran out as fast as we could..

I sware to god I thought he was going to rape us..

ive gotten stuck in elevators...

this one time, at a band concert, i needed to use the restroom, so james was helping me find it, and we couldnt find the womens room(we were at this huge church) but there was a sign that said more restrooms upstairs, so we got in the elevator, pressed the button and proceeded to sit there for 5 minutes. first we got scared, until we everntually realized that, oh, we just pressed the button for the floor we were on. i never actually found the restrooms until i went back like 2 years later

and then i actually got stuck in an elevator in dillards once

Nothing happened to me. I don't like going on elevators alone though because I'm afraid of getting stuck.

ugh i am scared to death of elevators...they just freak me out...when i go in them i just stand against the wall and close my eyes...sometimes hold my breath too...

I just get dizzy. Nothing exciting.

Though, one of my French teacher told her experience of being on an elevator that dropped from the 4th floor. Scary stuff... you have no way out.
