friend problems, not a "secret girl talk" or nothin

i have this best friend. shes been my best friend since 2nd grade. from 2nd grade thought 6th grade, we went to this elemenrty school from K-6 and for every grade there were only two classes. my school was pretty small so everyone was friends with eachother. (of course there were popular people and dorky//loserish people)... we've always been sidebyside not in the popular group and not in the loser group.

so this year in 7th grade, we got mixed in the jr high with another school in our district which was way bigger than ours. now there is strictly a boundary for popular, lesspopular, dorks, freaks, losers, etc. but all my friend wants to do is be popular! i mean, all these years, we have been fine being unpopular and all of a sudden when theres about 200 more kids she just ditches me and tries to be popular? whenever some popular girls around she hangs by them, when theyre not, she hangs by me. its just like shes using me to catch her back when shes alone!!

should i just leave her to be friends with the popular people even though they arent her best friends or should i just keep doing the same thing im doing now??

and you dont know her like i do, shes a liar. she lies to be popular, you know what im saying? if she does something wrong she either denies it or blames it on someone else *ahem* which would be me.

please help me!!

what a bitch. forget about her, she's not worth your time. trust me, she will get it coming when you stop being friends with her, and all those popular kids single her out. then she will want you back as a friend, and she will know how you feel when she ditched you. just watch and see, popular kids dont care about you, they just care about themselves, and once your best "friend" realizes it, she will get a taste of what you're going through biggrin.gif

What? gosh that stinks. If u feel used, tell her that. Tell her, mayb she'll hav an explaination and it better b a good one! If she treats u this way, shes not a true friend. A true friend should not trade u off to the popular kids. If thats the way she wants it, then shes missing out on u being a gr8 friend to her. biggrin.gif

trust me girl you dont need friends like her....she isnt your true friend. friends dont lie to you (the some do but you know i am saying) and leave you and hang out with you when it is convientent (sp?). you can do better so go out and hang with new friends

yeah i use to have a friend like that. I just told her one day our friendship was over and now its been 2 years she comes crawling back cause all the "Popular People" ditched her and i dont except it. But anyways, what im trying to say it DUMB THAT 2-FACED, LIEING BITCH! lol. It'll be worth it cause you can find way better friends than her, and plus, theres no such thing as popular, i mean come on, popular means widley liked or appreciated and i dont think 1 or like 5 people could do that in a school with soo MANY people who HATE them, Remember that! biggrin.gif

thanks guys. yeah she just started it this year and its been like almost half a year. yup just wanted to know what everyone thought was best for me to do. she doesnt know it but all of her old friends hate her. lol.

i use to have a similar friend.....popular people are too concieted and realllllllly shallow.....just straight up tell your friend how you feel and if she doesn't care..then bye

maybe she is goivng undercover to see what it is like. like a spy. kind of.
then after she is done being "popular" she will get a book and movie deal and talk about her adventures as a quick way to get into harvard law.
