so i was trying to search for any threads like this and the search wont let you look for words with less than 4 letters... you cant even you quotations ...BOO

so i just wanted to know... is it ok to date someone that your friend already dated?
what if you never met that person while they dated your friend?
i think the relationships been over for about half a year anyway

If your friend doesn't mind...i guess it's okay, but i have found it usually arouses jealousy.

I did a no no and dated my friend's ex--very bad ending.

the best thing to do is to ask her. but like barelyy_coherent said, it shouldn't be a problem since the relationship has been over for half a year already

If the relationship has been over for half a year, I think it's OK for you to date your friend's EX. thumbsup.gif If you like this guy, go for it.

just ask her if she's alright with it. if she's okay and wont get jealous then go for it, but if she's known to be a jealous person then i'd say back off.

I think it's ok if it's been awhile since they broke up, but if you go out with him/her right when they broke up with their ex, then that's wrong.

depends on how good of friends you are.
if you`re his really good friend, than no.
if you`re a hi-bye friend then, maybe.

even if he says its okay, he`s lying
same thing happened to my bro. he & his friend got in a huge fight.
didnt turn out great.

i dated my friend ex coz she said it was alright & my other friend dated my ex so it doesnt really matter if the feelin for the guy is gone

it depends on hu broke up first...like my friends friend broke up with someone and my friend is now dating my friends friend's ex..but my friends friend is jealous..so it depends..(i hope that made sense)if ur friend broke up first then its ok..but if the ex broke up first i think its not ok..

I really would ask my friend about it first.. You don't want to lose a friendship over some guy/girl you know what I mean?

Plus, your friend should be okay with it if s/he thinks that the guy/girl is okay. If your friend says that you cannot date him/her because s/he is your friend's ex, then just know that your friend is really protective about it and is still going through a phase after a break up. Remember that your friend might also have his/her best interest, at heart. Also, your friend is bound to get over that guy/girl anyway because s/he should move on... You know what i mean?

ask your friend if it's ok, and I think 1/2 a year is not too early to ask a friend's ex back. My friends would be dating my ex's the next 2 or 3 months!

I'd say no...it's not wrong to date a friends ex...if you know they realli don't care for them nemore..then it's okae..it's a problem if your friend says they still love him and say they're goin to go back out w/ him...

i tried to keep this as general as possible but i think its bitin me in the arse... im a male... so i would have trouble dating my male friends... hahahaha... i aint gay not that there's anything wrong with that...
