We have what we call the "daylight rule". Light has to be seen between you and another person. So basically, no touching anyone. At all.

WTF? That is lame.

I can't think of any lame rules. I mean supposedly we can't have cell phones but a lot of people use them during class and some teachers don't care. The PDA rule isn't really strict at my school but the people got tired of kids making out in this one building so now we can't go in there during lunch or before school. They lock it. It's not fair because my locker is in that bullding so in the morning it is locked and I can't get my books. By the time they open it I practically have to run to class.

umm my school is pretty strict but nothingweird.

no flipflops. no holes in pants. if your pants cover your shoes or drag, then theyre too long and out of dresscode. no unnatural haircolor -_-. no spikes. no chains. no straps. no necklaces, like dogtags or anything. jackets cant be past your belt..

well i go to a private school so its a little stricter on everything but some stupid rules are..
1..no non-school sweaters, not even p.e sweatshirts, they have to be the issued sweaters..they're itchy and i dont like them very much.
2..on non-uniform days girls cant wear shirts with straps smaller than 3 fingers wide, even when we had this heat wave in june.
3..no leaving a study block without signed permission and if you're late for a class you get lunch detention.

o and yeah. You cant have your cell phone on school grounds. If a teacher catches you, you will get it taken away. You can get a contract [which you have to pay for!] which gives you a free pass if a teacher catches you the first time. If the teacher catches you again, they will take it.

I go to a non-religious non-uniform private high school and our school doesn't really have any outrageous rules.
you can have have crazy hair, wear whatever colors you want, sandals are allowed, people always have digital stuff

no using cell-phones, obviously... aaaaaand thats about it rofl
but thats not really a big deal.

There aren't really any dumb rules at my school. No cell phones I guess..that's not really a dumb rule though, because when they disturb people when they ring in class, but I think people should be able to bring cell phones to school as long as they don't ring during school time.

Same here, we always bring food and chew gum. I hate the rule about no cell phones in school but a lot of people bring them n.e way including me.

They were saying how we don't need them for emergencies because our school is already safe, but that's bull because we just has a lockdown a couple months ago for a kid bringing a knife on campus.
