I have a boyfriend now , How long should I wait before I tell her?
Not right away though I know that just because it doesnt last and I NEVER tell my mom when I have a boyfriend but since he has a car and etc , I guess she will let me go out with him If I tell her we are going out and what not. |

Tell her when you feel that the relationship is getting serious and you introduce him to the family. I guess then. If not, just tell her when she asks.

ASAP. it shows that ur not afraid, ur willing to show him to her, that ur a grown up, that u have responsibility. if she finds out about him later, she'll get pissed off. if u tell her now, sure, she'll get angry kinda, but at least u didn't wait until she found out on her own. whatever.

I would tell her soon because the longer you wait, the harder it might to get it out.. but it's up to you...

Think about if you didn't tell her. Then, when you really do tell her, what will she think? She'll think you were hiding it because it was something negative, which gives her the impression that you're not exactly that faithful to the guy.

Go tell her asap...
I mean...she does allow you to have a bf right? If she doesn't, well, then just sit down with her and tell her that there is something that you think she ought to know, and just spill the beans. Or...you can ask her how she feels about you having a bf, and go from there. The sooner you tell her, the better. She's bound to find out sooner or later, and if she finds out that you've been hiding this from her, she might not approve of him at all, and that can get in you into trouble with your Mom and your bf. If you're afraid of telling her face-to-face, you can always tell her via a letter, or maybe you can have your older siblings (if you have them that is) to be there when you tell her. It doesn't have to be a family gathering kind of thing, but you do have to tell her. Remember, she was young once and knows what is like to have a bf. Good luck! |

Tell her. The sooner you tell her, the better it may be. But if you let her find out for her self, like if he calls you or something. That would be worse...

in the end, its ALWAYS better to be honest with your parents, they will trust you more in the end.. and when you get older and want to do more stuff and gain more independence, they will trust you make the right decisions because you were always honest with them.
THAT, and your parents can be your biggest support. My mom and i were best friends and i told her everything, she trusted me (maybe not my boyfriends haha) but she was supportive. She died a year ago and i miss her so much and wish i was more open and honest with her. |

yea tell her wen u know that it's serious n u know it will last a long time. if not then dont tell her cuz...u might hear it from her if ur only with him for a lil while. actually it all depends on wat kind of parents u have. my sister didnt tell her parents until like six months later. it kinda bothered my parents but they were cool with them going out. i told my parents right away. so just...do wat u think is best.
