HEARTACHE IS THE PERFECT INSPIRATION This pen, this lonely pen He is my only friend My love and I subset Filling me with regret So… I WRITE IT (DOWN) can’t even sleep a wink my blood is in this ink I take my heartache And smear it on this paper This night that fate betrayed me The price I can’t stop paying Those long lost summer evening Begin my tortured grieving So… I WRITE IT (DOWN) can’t even sleep a wink my blood is in this ink I take my heartache And smear it on this paper She always found the worst times To moisten both of my eyes Her apathy is astounding That night, I woke my family with the KEYBOARD POUNDING! So… I WRITE IT (DOWN) can’t even sleep a wink my blood is in this ink I take my heartache And smear it on this paper |
