I'm going through a lot at the moment as well.
Way. Too. Much. Stress.
I realize I'm only in junior high, but my parents are putting a lot of pressure on me as are my teachers and friends.
My friends are backstabbing me and the ones that aren't are hardly around.
I'm a bit of a loner. I don't mind that overall, but I really don't appreciate it when my "friends" sit around and talk about their super cool weekends they spent with their boyfriends and they always like to talk about my ex and that just makes me kind of sad.

So yep.
I've been constantly depressed for months.

I'm not sure if what you are suffering from is depression, but who knows? Anyways, yes, I've suffered from depression before. And I feel that I might be suffering from it now but yeah I'm trying my best to not get sucked into it again.

O_o. i dont get why you're suffering from depression since thats really not that bad. my parents always yell at me but idc. i got selective hearing so i dont really listen. but yea im suffering from depression a little. my favorite grandma died recently from cancer and a really good friend of mine might only have 5 more months to live and thats killing me.

i used to, or i thought. i figured there was too much to live for than staying locked up in my room throwing things. i got over it, and looked over at the bright side. you should too.

i was crazy depressed for like all of 8th grade, but it passes. my best friend was depressed and cut and attempted suicide like 3 times, but obviously something inside of her didnt want her to die because, i mean 3 times... and she's still alive. so DONT WORRY. and i'm not saying do any of the stuff my best friend did, because obviously its unhealthy.
itll pass and if you need to talk i'm here.

I'm depressed often, but it doesn't really affect me.. I usually just keep everything inside and act like I'm happy.

i think its just you being sad because you dont have your best friend around. depression is something very serious, just keep in mind that even though you have moved away, if those friends of yours are indeed "true" friends, then they'd still always be there for you. trust me, i have moved to several places, my best friend is now at least a thousand miles away and we are still extremely close.

since you asked if we have all suffered through depression, i'll have to say yes. because one of my closest friends passed away when i was a freshman and it was a really difficult time for me. i thought about unimaginable things but finally, i had to learn that in life- there is always going to be someone out there that has it worse. let time heal the pain, trust me- you'll be fine. (:

It could be things other than depression, but it could very well be depression. I suggest you get to a psychiatrist and get diagnosed. He/She should give you the medicine you need and recommend you to a good therapist. Then you're set.. you can begin to feel better.

Yes, I have been through depression. It can be a long road. If you ever need to talk, just PM me.

Well if it comes and goes then it's not really depression now is it? It's more of you getting the depressed, a feeling, but to actually be depressed is something different where sometimes people end up needing to take medication. It's not like a feeling of anger that just sometimes comes and goes. So yeah, it really depends on if you just occasionally feel depressed or if you really suffer from depression; clinical depression. Sorry, I just felt the need to clarify that. Because by asking, "Do you suffer from depression?" It seems more as if you are speaking of the clinical depression rather than the emotion of being depressed. Which is why I stated in an earlier post that maybe you aren't really suffering from depression.

I havent been feelinf depressed lately, but i did a few months ago. My so called "friends" didnt include me in anything or ever call me, and they always just kinda treated me like i was invisible. It made me feel like i needed to act like them to fit in, so i did. I tried not liking people they didnt like, acting like they did, and everything. It didnt work. I was feeling like everyone hated me & even had thoughts of suicide. One day i figured out that if they didnt like me for the real me, they werent real friends. After all of that, I started acting more like myself, and I gained more friends, and now those people acdept me for me. Then my parents were fighting allt he time, and I would sit in my room & cry because of it. My mom was even thinking of filing for a divorce & my dad going back to mexico. But in the end, they have finally settled down & everything is back to normal. School was really stressful too. I absolutely HATED school. Tests were hard, teachers were being bitches, and my grades were dropping. I couldnt figure out why. Then it hit me that i was playing too much in class & not listening. After I started listening, everyting got better. You just need to give things time. Feel better.

Yeah I did for a year or so. It was hard for many reasons. You may feel depressed, but I don't think you really have depression-- the kind that doctors diagnose. It could be just a lot of stress, or hormonal imbalance. It's not strange for a 13 year old adolescent to cry more than they usually do. Don't worry, it's most likely just a phase, but if it really starts to get worse you need to talk to someone.
