Okay, well this is my assignment:
"Describe one experiment of your own design to demonstrate a basic difference in male/female aptitude or ability. Clearly describe what you are testing , how you would test, what you expect to find, and what control(s) you would use." And I need help thinking of an experiment, and here's some examples of experiments that were in the film They enclosed a barrier between a child and a mother, the girl cries for help and tries to get people to help her push it down, and the boy tries to push it down by himself, which shows that boys are more..strong, or think they're strong? And another one was that they put an 8-year-old girl alone on a busy street, and many women asked if she was okay, but no men did, and that proves that women are more caring. They asked kids who often rode bikes to draw them, and the boys` pictures had a lot more detail while the girls` didn't, which proves that boys pay attention to the detail and are interested in mechanical things. ..Yeah, so I just need help thinking of an experiment. Oh and here are some of the differences: Males Better at parking better at directions quick to recognize moving objecs don't really show emotion encouraged to find how things work females more caring, sympathetic show more empathic behavior quick to recognize family bettwer at seing detail, texture, etc... more emotional encouraged to find how people work better at language and communication |

Um...
*thinks* You could have a girl and a guy run a mile on a track and see who is the fastest and who has the most endurance. Gahh, I'm bad at thinking. |

Try enclosing both male and female in a greenhouse. Throughout this greenhouse, they will face many challenges that include surviving with the lack of food.
They will need to survive, but because they are only limited to a few substances, tension will arise. With this, you will able to see who has a more intense perspective of the situation. If one reacts more fiercely, you can say that differentiates one thing from the other. Strength can also be measured here. If there is a difficult task in which many vegetables have to be placed to one area to another; you will be able to see which sex will deal with what. Intelligence can be measured because how will each sex deal with each type of vegetable and green. The possibilities are endless. I hope this helped. |

Do you subscribe to TIME magazine? The issue .. two weeks ago (I think) had a study on the differences. You can prove those differences with your own experiments.

if any guys had stopped and asked the 8 year old girl if she needed help, he'd be arrested as a sex offender.
i mean, when you see a man talking to your daughter on the street when she's lost... what will you think? anyways: for your project. get a console game (racing game) get a bunch of guys and girls together. have food and cokes and stuff. get them to do one at a time, a very hard racing course with the exact same settings. collect thier times. tell them that's what you're collecting. however, you don't really obserb that person. you do collect times, but obserb everyone else in the room. record that for when a girl or guy is on the game, whether the girls and guys watching are like "you can do it" or "you suck" record the number of girls and guys that say each. etc. |

see which one is more likely to talk to strangers.
for extra, let the "stranger" have stuff like food, candy, money, stuff like that. |
