Come on -- I know there are a few people in the 17-20 year old range on this forum that remember the good ol' 1993-1997ish era when bands like this were cool...
Some from the top of my head were: Bush Candlebox Toad the Wet Sprocket Gin Blossoms Third Eye Blind Collective Soul Semisonic Etc, etc.. Reminisce on some of your favorites...assuming you were born, what were you listening to in 1993? |

The 90's music era was the stuff you'd put on when you were on the way to a weekend on the lake and you were listening to it in this great new thing they called 'SUVs'.
Ahh...those were the pontooning days.. |

Dave Matthews Band--duh!
anyway, I usually enjoyed: - dave matthews band - the wallflowers - hootie and the blowfish (HAHAH HES NOW DOING BURGER KING COMMERCIALS, I BET HE NEVER THOUGHT THAT YEARS AGO!) - sublime - incubus, '99 shh;) - Include a bunch of mall-metal, and pop bands. |

a lot of those bands are still performing ... like bush.
but here's some more : - smashing pumpkins - offspring - pearl jam - red hot chili peppers (when they were awesome) - Cake - Presidents of The United States (remember, peaches?) - Live - Sound Garden I could go on. That was my era ... along with the 80s. *sigh* |

QUOTE(CrackedRearView @ Mar 18 2005, 1:47 PM) hah yes. I've been a fan since god, probably '96'ish. And since '97 I've always wanted to go to a DMB show. Sadly tickets always sold out, and if my mom went, she only had tickets for her and her friends. Last year for my birthday, my best friend got me a ticket to see DMB. Quite amazing I must say; they're wonderful live. |
