Work on Parallel parking, and don't crash into anything, or into anyone. lol. But yah the hardest part is doing parallel parking. And after your license...um be happy? dont' speed or drive drunk. I dont' know what else to really say lol

Hi Ben. I don't see you post a lot these days heh.

Anyways, I didn't get my permit nor my driver license yet. Hm... but I know that you will get it the age of 16.

- Practice paralell parking, that's the one thing they'll look at.
For my test, I didn't need to know how to paralell park.

Also, make sure you use turning signals, you drive the "9-5"er

Don't go through any yellow lights, AT ALL.
Make sure you look in both side mirrors if you have to change a lane; wear seatbelt, etc.

Just do everything as anally as possible.

I've had mine for over a year now. Yeah, Parallel parking is a biggie!!! They make you do that first. If you fail it, you fail the entire test.
Good Luck!

~practice parallel parking...actually parking in general
~make sure you actually STOP at stop signs
~dont stop a yield signs unless you need to
~remember speed limit
~both hands on wheel

Hmm.. Actually I'm going to take the driving test for my license this saturday. I'd appreciate some tips as well, seeing as how I live in California as well. tongue.gif

To those who drive, how many mistakes did you make (if you can remember)?

Don't think so.. Otherwise my drifving instructor would tell me about it.

Anyway, you CAN get your license when you're 18, where you just take the WRITTEN test and then get your license. It's a done deal, but you'd have to learn to drive all by yourself. I guess it's somewhat easier.. whistling.gif But yea I don't think they would change it to 18 because if you turn 18 and never EVER got a permit nor taken the classes, then there would be no point in having a permit and wating... -_- You know what I mean?

When you stop at a stop sign, make sure your car doesnt hit the white line

They make us (in Illinois) back around a curb, if we hit it we fail.

Keep your eyes moving looking at everything (they look at your eyes)

PRACTICE PARKING.

I'd say, the parking part is really difficult. Even though i havent taken the driving lessons, i still think it is difficult. I tried driving my dad's car once cuz he was teachin me how to drive. xD But im getting my license next year, which is totally AWESOME and i cant wait. :]
