i havent had mine but i remember my sister ha it was so funny!
i walked into the house after skool and saw my sister's panties laying on the ground in the bathroom all bloody ( it was SO gross!) and i screamed! ha. i was like "wat the heck is going on!??!?" then she came runnin out of her room and shushed me and told me that she got her period and i was like "o i thought ud been raped!" and she was all like "eww no!" then my mom walked through the door just then, saw the undies and freaked out! my dad was rite bhind her and was freaking out 2! ha. it was certinly a family xperience. we still wont leave her alone about it! lol. |

I got my first period when I Was working out on our excercise machine...my stomach started to really really hurt so I stoped...and then I went up stairs and took an advil than wen tto the bathroom cause something was making may underpants wet
 ya, so I saw the blood and went ot my room and changed underwear than put on a pad my mom had bought me before jsut in case and went downstairs and said "I think I got my first period" and she was all like "omg, do you have your pad in?" and stuff and I Said ya  and then she went to the rest of the family an said "leslie got her first period" and my bros were like "what's a period?" (they were stupid back then..not that they arn't now  ) she didn't really explian it to them which I am glad of....hmm, it wasn't that bad...altohug the stomach ache was horrible....the only embarrising part was when she todl my grandma....I donno, for some reaosn it was jstu more embarrising...

When I got my first period I was sleeping. when I woke up I just remember changing my underwear like 3 times that day. I had no idea what was going on. and it didnt look like blood. My mom just gave me pads and sent me on my way "read the instructions" was her advice

i was riding my bike down to swimteam practice, then i get there with a great suprise, and my sofies covered in blood
i knew i couldn't swim...so i just called my mom. i went home, she gave me a box of tampons, and that was the end of it.she didn't even say congradulations, and she told my dad! |

I told my sister...then my sister told everyone else that was in the apartment (my mom and brother) while I was in the bathroom reading the instructions on a package of pads. Came back out and went along like nothing happened...haha my sister was crying out of joy.
Later that week, when me and my mom were on the way to the store. And she said "so....you got your period, huh?" Then I said "yeah". And that was the end of it.

I didn't know I had my first period because I was a tombody and didn't care what was behind me. My mom was like "SUSAN! there's blood in your pants!" then we go inside the bathroom together and told me that I'm having my period. I had no clue what she was talking about. First, I thought it was a serious thing because when I look at my bloody underwear, I was so shocked. I couldn't really hear what she said because I was so scared. I was like half blanked. My mom told me to do this and that...because I didn't know what it was haha. I wasn't embarrassed either. She was just so happy that I'm a lady now... hm something like that haha
