 ok so im head over heels for this guy named tyler...we met through xanga n through this metro so it was perfect cuz he lived close..i was happy...but the problem is im 15 n he's 17..i mean i know its 2 years...but we're also two different ppl..im a girl who likes pink, i dress prep style,i like being obnoxious n girly...he is gothish.nuff said...but i mean we get along so great n we're so close..i can date two years over but this would be my first two years older BF im use to one year older..he's everything i love n i mean i havent felt this way for a guy ever...seriously..he's 17 and heavenly n im 15 n lost...there's no flaw to him..n this weekend he asked me to go on a date which i thiink will end on us going out..n i dunno wat to say..i dont...i like him a whole lot i really do i wrote him a 6 page letter college rule front n back...OMG...this is drivin me insane!!!i need major help cuz if i dont get any im gonna be i dunno girl when he asks me out..the problems are he's 17(but when i turn 16 he turns 18 two months afterwards) he's a gothish type n im a preppy type... some of my "friends" said not to go out with him cuz him bein goth with a prep would seem like he only wants some...n it doesnt look right..but i dont care about my rep i like him a lot!!!!!...i mean im bi but right now i only want him... 2. who cares if ur two different ppl? don't label him, and don't label urself. ur two people who care a lot about each other, and that's all that matters. gopher it i say. g'luck.

Well, if you claim that u do "love" him. maybe u should put aside the diffrences between you two including the age and diffrent reps. I have friends that are prepy but also date goths, skaters, and rockers. Your friends should be happy for you that you found someone u love, not telling you to back off.

but i want to warn you that he might jst be another old man trying to pretend he`s someone so he can get horny on young girls i mean theres plenty of situations when a girl meets someone online and the guy tells them to go on a date, she goes, gets kidnapped, raped & killed. my mom had a client like that. it was scary. all over the news. all im saying is be careful. |

Dont label yourself cause labels don't mean anything anyway. I mean the way a person dresses does not depict the type of person they are inside. I say go for it if you really like him. He's only two years older. It shouldnt be too different from your previous boyfriends who were only a year older. Good luck ;)

I had this exact same probalem except he is punk and I am... not on the outside. We resolved this and I realized that difference DOESN'T matter at all. If you love each other and you get along great then forget your differences. Don't care what other people think of you two as a couple only care what you two think.
