I want to make a link to a video I'm hosting, but I don't want people to be able to stream it so that no one can drain my bandwidth. Is there a way to disable left clicking on a specific link? If there can be a pop-up to say to right click as well that's just gravy. Help?

I don't think anything happens when you left click...

you can't disable left-click. at least i don't think so. and you wouldn't be able to go anywhere. can't go to any links, so it would be useless.

You can encoder the part where your video is so they won't find the url.

No, I know for a fact you can disable left-click. http://www.bigwebmaster.com/1201.html However, that applies to the entire page, and I just want to use it on a single specific link, which I've seen also seen done before. There were links to mp3s, and if you just clicked on the link (I mean, it was just a text link directly to the mp3 itself), then a dialogue box popped up and said "Don't take our bandwidth; right-click and save," or something to that effect, but obviously it wasn't applied to all of the links on the page. You could still right click though. I looked for the site, but I couldn't find it... If there is anyone who can look at that link and figure it out from there, I'd be unendingly grateful... Or if someone can just tell me how to have a dialogue box come up on left-click for a single link?

Well, if you remember the website where it had the left-click pop-up, why don't you email them and ask them for the code?
