Which do you think is better?
This is not a topic that is asking which you have, but a topic for people that have experienced all 3 of them and could possibly tell me which is the best for downloading things, which is fastest at downloading things, and which has the most files. |

i've had kazaa lite and winmx. kazaa lite i loved until everyone stopped sharing... i can't get anything on it now. i stopped using winmx after a month because i just didn't like how it was setup, but i heard the same thing happened to it as kazaa lite (you can't find anything on it). right now i use bearshare lite, which i LOVE. it owns kazaa lite and winmx, and my friend who used to use limewire switched after trying it. i would suggest that.

I was able to find alot of things on kazaa lite, but I just didn't like that it would scrwe around with my computer (adware/spyware). I hated the skin winmx ran, and I just never liked it altogether. I could never find the songs I wanted.
For awhile I used soulseek (used to be on slsk.org, now it's some crazy russian one) and i found EVERYTHING on their. It seemed that every indie band was on there, etc. But then I had some many mp3's that whenever it would load the program, it would freeze. Right now I use aresgalaxy and limewire. They're both pretty reliable. Whatever I can't find on one, I use the other. - aresgalaxy.org |

oh and in limewire, what do the speeds mean? modem, cable etc. i know what they are, i just dont know which download the fastest |

ive tried all 3, and personally i prefer limewire.
kazaa gave me viruses (although, admittedly, i havent tried kazaa lite yet), winmx is from hell and i cant find anything that i want, but i had good luck with limewire in the short amount of time i had it before my stepdad made me uninstall it |

kazaa sucks.
winmx looks funky and limewire froze up on me like 4353124 within a minute.. i think limewire is the best out of the three, with relatively good download speeds, and a wide range of music. i think Ares, what i have now, is the best. =] (btw..Modem = 56k = slowest, DSL = about 5-6 times faster?, Cable = a lot faster than DSL from what i hear, and T1 is probably the fastest, by far.) |

I use bearshare. I'm on dial up and everything goes pretty fast and there are always thousands of items for everything I've searched for.

I've only tried Kazaa and WinXM.. but if I had to choose out of those I would choose Kazaa, even though it sucks and most of the stuff you get on there is crap.

I used all three..but i perfer Kazaa Lite +++, for asian music, and limewire for americain songs. so yah...

definetley lime wire cuz kazza songs sux there all scraty and wimpx i really didnt like but i choose Ares out of all cuz its faster for me..

Of those, i like Limewire for music, but Emule is better for movies. Kazaa sucks... really really does.. i don't recommend it. If you have Kazaa, kill it and get Limewire at least =]

WinMX because it barely has no ads at all. Also it doesn't have adwares like kazaa. Kazaa EWWWW. gosh when i had kazaa... there were crazy ads and spywares and adwares...too much. ehhh and lots of viruses too.

I say, they all blow use morpheus you get alot of results with each search and downloading is fast.
