LV bags get more beautiful the older it is.. and the workmanship put into each bag is incredible.. i know old people who's been using the same LV bag for more than 20 years.. and it still looks great.. i haven't met any1 who has been using their $15 bag from target for the past 20 years though.. and think about it.. average lifespan of a $15 bag is what, at most 2 years?  i rather spend $500 on a bag that'll last me a lifetime and still look fashionable 20 years later than a $15 that'll go outta style in like, a day.. it's the lines and the design that's just incomparable..

if you take care of a $15 bag it can get the same amount of use as a $500 bag. also talking about going out of style, hello some LV and coach bags have definently gone outta style. it is all just a matter of time before something becomes "unfashionable"

besides which, if you pay that much for a bag, youre going to take care of it, or if you mess it up it will actually be a loss, whereas, if you take care of a cheap bag, it can last too, and you wont be skrewed it something happens to it

I like LV but haha of course I would never be able to afford one.. right now. Maybe after I get a job. I think certain ones are actually pretty, while others are ugly. The black/white with multicolored LV purses are ugly.. But the cherry blossom one or plain monograph ones are pretty.. :] Of course, also the design of the purse is significant.

I hate any kind of Dooney and Bourke purse. I've seen NONE that are pretty. Coach PWNs D&B anyday. Coach is more.. everyday kinda thing.

D&B ARE HIDEOUS. Just because some unartistic designer decided to come up with trying to create abstract random, rainbow-colored purses and knocking up the price up a big notch does not make it trendy. I see a lot of people having D&B purses at my school. I personally think Coach is better.

But then again, I'm not that big of a trendy person right now. It is true though, that the more expensive, the more likely the purse will last. But then again, sometimes that's not the case. Bags can still use the same amount of fabric, but depending on the design of that purse, the bag will cost more.

I personally love D&B. I love all their bags. And Coach too. As for that Rocawear purse, I have to say it's just about the ugliest bag I've seen. Ever. But then again, it's just not my style.

Dooney and Bourke bags aren't that ugly..it's just the ones you posted that are really gross. Alot of their bags are really really nice, but some are hideous. The only reason why people think that they're for little kids is only because the most popular ones are the colorful styles and the heart styles. Especially because color is in this year, it's only commercial trying to attract younger teens to their bags. Dooney and Bourke has alot of monotone, sepia colors too, for example:

did you see the new coach bags they are kind of nice looking. its like the dooney and bourke ones but better. they have scribbled C's just like the d&B ones. my friend has one and it looks really really nice.
