How do you treat new comers here in cb or those people that dont usually go here every day and do not share their pictures to the group?

l have this friend and he felt discreminated here in cb. He's a newbie and everyone seems to be unfreindly.

The Big question is, how you treat newbie's here in Cb?

Do you treat them equally or you feel supperior.

Do you respect them or not?

l just wanna know your side and your opinion so dont hate for this. l'm just askin. tongue.gif

I act the same towards everyone here on CB. The only time I get aggrivated is when someone doesn't follow the rules.

newbs are alright but you have to admit that most of them don't bother to read the rules and start usless topics and duplicates...but, i really don't care. i usually treat all the members the same unless they do something to me. ermm.gif

I treat newbies just as they were here forever.
But it does annoy me when they don't read the rules.

^ yeah

and i usually dont look at their info to see whether they`re noobie or not, so i dont really know if someone`s noob. i look if they broke the rules or something.

I'll move this to lounge, so people will actually see this _smile.gif

Anyway..there's a difference. People treat "n00bs" and "newbies" differently..I don't like..treat someone meanly because they are new. Some people just get..frusterated. They only see a bunch of people spamming...it could be your first time and you could be flamed at..because people look at it not so much of how you spam as an individual..but more of how you look at how many spamming posts there are..make sense? =/

but I try to be nice...If they are nice to me, I'll probably be nice to them.

I treat them like any other member. Why? Because everyone was once a newbie at one time or another, so it doesnt really matter.

Just sometimes I get annoyed at newbs when they don't know what they're doing and make double posts, repeated posts, advertise their site.. etc.

It has nothing to do with their number of posts, it's their personality, and their sttitude. There are some new members of cb that can be annoying because it's obvious they don't read the rules. But there are some older members like that also. I treat them with respect until they give me a reason to treat them differently

To be truthful,
some noobs are very ignorant and dimwitted, so that's probably why they treat them bad.

Some noobs are very cool, as a matter of fact, but some are just stupid.

I usually respect newbies, as long as they are respectful to me. Plus, I know most of them haven't said or done anything to hurt my (or a friend of mines') feelings, so I have no problem with them. Also, how would you classify a newbie? Someone who just recently joined, regardless of how many posts they have? Or have the newbie title? There's a great many of people who joined cB a long time ago, but rarely posted, so they might still have the "Newbie" title.

I don't like it when newbies constantly don't follow the rules.. I mean sure breaking the rules is bad and all, but I don't get up on their case about it if they just broke one rule. I just check to see if they've been here for a while. I admit there are times where I may say harsh things, but in the end I apologize. In truth, sometimes I can be bitter towards people depending on my mood. Sometimes I might joke around (although rare), so what I say should be taken lightly.

Just because I'm a moderator does not mean that the only reason I'm nice around the forums is becuase of that position. I'm treat others they way they treat me or the way I want to be treated.

well i've been there and everyone has. everyone's equal to me until you a)post to bump your count, b) don't read the faq and use the search tool to persist to c)make very annoying topics.
