yeah i hate attention whores.

there's this nerdy girl at my school who always tries to get attention by wearing shirts that say stuff like "I have issues." that's really tight on her and shes kinda chubby. I feel bad for her, but she needs to stop.

What some people failed to mention, as they commented about how parents affected the children, is that some [kids] dress like that to be a rebel and/or to prove a point.

Parents who shelter their children hide them from the outside world (i.e. the media), in hopes of keeping them safe and babying them to be the perfect son/daughter. At one point in that child's life, s/he MIGHT go crazy and want the parents to stop being strict and resort to different decisions. The child(ren) might react to this kind of treatment by doing one of the following:
1. Talking to their parent(s)/guardian(s) about it and problem is solved.
2. Talking to their parent(s)/guardian(s) about it and problem is not solved. They don't do anything about it or secret disobey their parent(s)/guardian(s) behind their back.
3. Tell off their parent(s)/guardian(s) that they won't take it any more and go ALL OUT AND PROVE TO THEM THAT THEY ARE GROWN UP.

There could be other things that they might do in order to prove a point, or maybe just due to peer pressure and peer or media influence.

Perhaps some of those girls just want to fit in, follow the media, or parents are too strict or not strict enough. It all depends.

Back to the topic... We should show a thing or two to these "wannabe, whore-ish girls." It's sad that they're in such a hurry to grow up. Wearing MASS AMOUTS of makeup at 10 years old... What they don't know is that when they're older, they'll have wrinkles. wink.gif

I was sitting around with my group and this little posse of 10-12 year olds dressed like sluts come up to us and then starts flirting with my guy friend. As soon as they left, we rolled over with laughter. It's pathetic. I mean, the HIT ON MY 15 year old guy friend!!!!

Do they shop with a blind fold???

Where do they get those hideous clothes?

Even moreso, what parent would by clothes like that for their 10-12 year old daughter?

QUOTE(PAULiNE_x @ Mar 7 2005, 9:34 PM)
Girls who try too hard to get the attention of boys piss me off.

They frolic around the mall, strutting their flab in booty shorts and tiny midriffs, hoping to 'score' with boys who wouldn`t even give them a second glance if their semi-developed 'tits' weren`t hanging out. (who knew twelve-year-olds could be so degrading?) ... and I`m not speaking for all twelve-year-olds.

They go to shows, not for the music, but to meet 'hot, older emo' boys who probably won`t even be interested.

They tell their crushes details about things that aren`t PG13, hoping that it will "lure him in".

I know for a fact that I am not the only person annoyed with these teeny boppers, so tell me, who else is?

xo, Pauline
*

I love you. worthy.gif

And I agree. It's degrading and nobody wants to see it. I notice this a lot especially at shows. I see more and more of these type of girls every year. There's always this herum of girls next to me with their low, tightass pink tshirts, torn miniskirts and makeup splattered all over their faces; complaining about how crowded/loud/hot it is. Then you'd see them off somewhere in the back bothering a bunch of guys that clearly do not care to talk to them. And the group seems to get bigger and bigger as the band gets more mainstream. That's what annoys me when bands start getting more publicity from channels like MTV. It gives original fans a bad name. These teeny boppers also seem to get younger and younger as well. It's down to like, what? 11-12 years old now? Disgusting. They have pedophile victims written all over them.

Heck yeah, Pauline.. I'm soo annoyed by them. My best friend is one.. and she wears eyeshadow of all the colors under the sun (all together at once) hoping to get guys' attention. And she wears that kind of makeup to a simple outing to the say.. the mall. Imagine what she'll do at SPECIAL occasions.

People like that don't know what kind of attention they get, so they just keep doing it.

I am annoyed by this also. I hate the whole teenybopper, esp when they dont have ANY tits whatsoever and are buying huge push up bras and stuffing them. It's entirely irritating. Also girls that just want to score with guys and that it...or whent ehy play mind games. Theyre the girls who give us a bad name. I hate also when they have no sense of balancing their clothes. Its ok to wear a sexy top, but dont wear a skanky skanky skirt and high heels with it. Try to balance it out.

O lord >_>;; I just overheard a little middle-schooler girl, who is FLAT (flat as a board), talking about her bra size and how small other girls bra size were. I was like
"wtf? You don't even have any to show off so don't go dissing around other girls"

Our society is doomed if this continues... _unsure.gif

lol, you should see all the younger "preps" that go to concerts and will do anything for attention..even attempt to mosh in low ass skirts..!! and then the next day you'll hear them talking about how scary the concert was that they went to last nite..lol thats what i call comedy, but yea it is very VERY annoying.

I wanna slap some girls...
