He's just talking about something like here:
http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=rideordiechick06 Except he wants the image over only the blog so that its aligned with the modules on the left. |

I know what you mean, but I'm not sure I know how to do it. If you had the link to the page you could probably take a look at her source...

Hmmm still sketchy on what you want... by "title of your blog" do you mean the default header that xanga lets you put text into? If so is this how you want it to look:
+----+ |------|<---- image +----+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- | "something something"--------------------------"something" | <--- blog title ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I remember that! There was a topic on this way back, but I won't bother searching since I have no idea what to make the title. edit: nevermind, I'll search the topic. ;\ I'm wondering if you could use DIV on the banner or use DIV on your left modules. |

well they do have custom modules and those are seperate from the blogbody, thus not affected. The modules are tied with the movement of the blogbody

Yaha! i did ask her; I comented her.
For now, no response. *deep sigh* ... no one has the code? Damn once someone finds the code, be sure to put it in Xanga scripts! It'll be useful to many people. -cow. |

Again, do you know where you've seen it before? I specificly remember someone giving a link to this layout site.. it provided layouts. Their layouts had that kind of style. And maybe if I could take a glimpse of their codes and figure it out... I could help you. =\

I've tried commenting "Stephinika", the girl who has the exact layout type code that I'm looking for.
Visit her site right here So far, she hasn't responded. I'm sorry if this is causing such a hassle! ... but i'm simply in desperate need of that particular code to improve the look of my xanga. Thanks. |

it's in the skins section made by craziwhiteboi, but he changed his SN. it's now Misplacedyouth. http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showuser=92328 that's his info. you can PM him, also. //edit: i think i've got it. Make your own modules and align it to the top.. lol. i'm not sure if it works.. but i'm gonna test it tomorrow. |

You use the Xanga Styesheet found at the Xanga scripts (search it). You should like design everything first along with the custom module code found here : http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=178
Then when your all done designing, you select your image and make sure it's the same width as your blog. Then you put this code along with your image url at the very bottom of all the codes. <img src="URL OF IMAGE"> And it would somewhat look like mine! Hope that helped! |
