We've all been talking about what's your favorite or the worst anime/manga. But why do you like anime/manga? Or possibly...hate it?
The reason I like anime is because of the art most of the time. The eyes are what catch me. The other thing that makes me like anime is because of the story line. It is complex and the characters most of the time develop along with the plot.

Personally, I love it. The art is stylish and modern, and the characters range from thoughtful to crazy to spontaneous to sassy. Most of the time the plot isn't my main reason, but with mangas like Chobits, Paradise Kiss, Kodocha, etc. you can get really sucked into it. |

no. i've been to the libary where people would just live anime... they'd dress like the characters and they were so into it. they wouldnt stop drawing. but im not into it. i used to like some of the drawings though.

i love everything about it..it's themes, plots, drawings...character design...how some of their funny jokes are unique.

I hate the fact that the violence and comedy and such always seems to pull away its moral values. But then again, that kind of stuff makes it interesting. The story plots are always quite amazing, and very ethical. EVEN Yugioh and Pokemon have a sense of morality within their story plots.

anime is just like any other tv show or book or whatever. the only difference is that its drawn in a certain style, its animated instead of actually being acted out by people. some people out there are just too thick to realize that. i guess i obsess over it mostly cuz the art's pretty and the bissshies~!!

I don't really care about the art usually because most anime's are low profit anime's and such. But my main reason for anime is that it is just like American movies and such except cutted into seperate episodes and make you think a lot like hows it going to end. Why is that guy acting so suspicious and such. I really perfer anime comedy over movies these days... BE COOL could never match to like Love hina, School Rumble, and Azumanga daioh...

Watching anime is like reading a book filled with interesting twists and surprises. Many plots has substance, or at least, more so than the normal saturday morning cartoon.
For those that think they're pointless, do you guys like watching cartoon at all? |

I really like the graphics. I guess becuase of the way the hair is drawn, the way the eyes are drawn.. There's something about the drawings that appeal to me so much.
Not to mention that there are comic books (manga) that were made before the anime. I mean, I don't see a comic book for that many American cartoons...  Oh yea and the story lines. I'd rather NOT watch Lilo and Stitch because I loathe that show (no offense to anyone who likes it!)... And many other cartoons these days are so boring. The storyline of anime is wonderful.. I just can't get enough of it! I guess anime depends on the type of genre as well as the artist who created it. The storylines are so strong, depending on which anime you're watching. :] |

just like i don't like all the colors of the rainbow. i prefer exciting romantic plots. but, i give everything a chance. (except eating snails-- i'm sorry X_X) why? because... i do? simple as that. |

because the characters are so cute n adorable (NOT wat they would look like in real life) so its not realistic..thats one reason. and plus the plots are cute n stuff...they're interesting

Most of the time I like Hobby Anime, such as Beyblade, Crushgear, Lets & Go, Pokemon, etc.
I like buying a product for cheap prices and having to customize the product to or do something to it to make it more powerful than before, sure it may seem childish, but I have lots of time on my hands... |
