yeah, i posted that thing about not feeling your age. i know i'm only 20, i got 2 1/2 years left of college. and i'm just really really scared of leaving college.

all my life i've been waiting for my life to 'start'. i was really shy when i was younger, no friends, didn't go out. i still don't go out like i want. too busy or my friends are just as lazy or shy as i am.

just feel like your life stops after you graduate and you get a real job. like that's it, party's over. get into the 9-5 thing and before you know it your life is boring and you're 50

like ppl my age have all these stories to tell of ppl they know, things they did, parties they went to, etc. i don't have those stories.

it's really depressing, and really freaking me out lately that i have to get a job soon.

I'm scared for my future.
I want to be in a band, but what if my band doesn't make it? - Then what do I do?

I don't even know what I want to do with my life, so I don't know which classes to start choosing. >_<

*thinks about it*
i guess that would be scary.
it's be a refreshing shock, i know that
being thrust into the world after like what, at least 16 years of school?
that'd be so......sudden.

yeah, life passes by really fast if you're not watching carefully.
i dont get out much anymore, thanks to my high school workload.
but hey, you still have 2 1/2 years left. get out there and have some fun.
it's not everyday you get to live life to to the fullest.

The real world is going to kill all of us in more than just one way.
I think we're all afraid of the future to some degree; just some more than others.

I guess it really depends.. Sometimes I do have cold feet about my decisions in life and where I'll be headed. It is true that we don't know what the future might bring, but don't lose hope. You never know.. you might find the job of your dreams! Sure sure, there's a chance you might go to a deadend job or get a high-paying (yet boring) job where you work 12 hour shifts.. But remember that you can always save up that money and go on vacations.. Or when you're older you can go travelling! My half sister works 12 hour shifts, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have fun. She goes to different places every few months and has people to take over at her work during the summer when she goes to Vietnam, China, etc. I guess it really depends.

I, too, lived a sheltered life. I am scared that I will have to make my own decisions and whatnot in the future, but I realized that there is so much MORE to life than that. I realized that I can also have fun too. It's all about maintaining and stabilizing your life, imo. Plan ahead, too.

yeah, i'm too damn responsible

like i have a set schedule, and when i stray from that, i feel horrible.

i didn't go to my bio class cuz i was too tired, felt dirty all day

and tomorrow i'm driving back home to see my friend. i don't usually do that on weds. i don't have anything else to do, or homework, but i feel like i'm doing something wrong straying from my normal schedule.

i'm a dork cool.gif

Yeah, me too.

I'm afraid of failure..and I'm afraid I'm just going to crash and burn after high school. I have VERY little common sense.

Plus I want my Mommy to make me dinner every night.

Yeah it sometimes scares me too. Even though I'm still a junior at a high school and I still live with my family, but it worries me what will happen when I turn 18. It just scares me what's going to happen to me when I step into the new world that I haven't went.

Well, I still have a few years of high school, but it scares me to think what will happen. I already know what college I want to go to, where I want to live once I graduate, and what I want to be. But what if I don't get selected into the college i want? then I have to settle for some other college in some place where I'll be unhappy? it sucks to think that, but life is tough at times, and remember, it's not about partying or even being cool, because that won't make a difference in the real life.

I've been scared of the "real world" since I was 11... I can't really see a very clear picture of my future. pinch.gif I'm trying to do some planning beforehand but it doesn't seem to help much.

haha parties are overrated..

im a sophomore as well, and im actually excited what the real world might offer me. its more about actively making your life the way you want it to be rather than sitting back and waiting for it to hit you.

It's ironic that when I was a teenager I couldn't wait until I was grown and out on my own. But now that I am grown, I wish I was still a teenager with less resonsibilities.
