i HATE being shy! (and somewhat of a low self image)
there's this guy in my PE class. this past week we've been doing square dancing, and he actually asked to be my partner!  but the bad thing is that i was sooo flustered. i could hardly look at him! and i was blushing to badly... i think i may have given him a wrong impression...i was kind of trying to stand away from him for some reason. i'm really doubtful if he likes me because 1) he's cute, popular and outgoing. so not like me. and 2) is in 9th grade, and i'm in 8th. i know that most ppl say that popularity doesnt matter, but it always does! he's given me hints, but i'm never sure if i'm just misunderstanding them as just being friendly or his normal goofy self. i'm also worried about if he asks me out. what would i say? it would be a problem to be in different grades, have different friends, not being able to drive... lol. and i dont think i could live up to the "standards" of a girlfriend... *sigh* srry if this doesnt make sense... does anyone else have this problem?

well you have to know the guy personally first before you like him like that, and girl go ahead if he ask u to be his partner;; just ask him like q's when u guys are square dancing--it wont hurt!

if i were you and if a guy like that asked me out i would say yes because i would be even more popular. if he has given you hints mabye he likes you. when you were blushing i think that he was thinking that you were giving him hints and now hes trying to give you hints because he is interested in you and he thinks that you are interested it him...i bet you did not understand a word i jsut said... -_-

oh man oh man ..haha i'm exactly the same. except, i'm shy 24/7! blehh ..it really sucks, i tell ya. one time, i was meeting with this guy, 'cause we were just gonna hang out you know? and i invited my friends with me cause i was too shy to be by myself. then when he came, i was completely silenced. i did not say a word, at all! -_- then, he went home. but then i invited him to come to hang with us again and said i would try to be less shy and talk to him more but then when he came, i was completely silenced.. arrghh ..i wanted to slap myself silly so bad! i try to be more outgoing but ..it's who i am. some people just happen to be borned talkative while i just happen to be a very shy person.

He likes you, and you like him, there is no need to be shy anymore
I myself am PAINFULLY shy but I know when I can be comfortable around people, don't be afraid of being yourself because if he doesn't like who you really are then he doesn't really like you |

Just start off by being friends with him. Think of him as a friend and not a guy who could possibly date in the near-future. Don't worry, things will work out. Talk more to him, don't be so shy. There's nothing to be afraid of.. now anyways!! lol jk =)
