ghostys, do you believe in them?, or have had experiences with them? Options

i was just thinking back to my childhood days and i seriously remember seeing ghosts several times..! even my friends remember seeing them in school...!

so... do you believe in ghosts or not? wanna share any experience that's like.. a close encounter with the "other side"???

i'll start...

so like.. i was in school on a sunday with my classmates cuz we were practicing for a school assembly.. walking in the 4th floor of the old building, it was really dark there.. across the hall, i heard someone walking.. but i knew that everyone else was upstairs in the gym.. then i faced the other side.. behind the locked gate, there was a tall person carrying an ax without a head.. i was so scared, i screamed really loudly..! then my friends came down, wondering what was going on.. they saw the ghost as well..! i told someone to go to the 3rd floor and come up through that side... he did so and by the time he came up, the ghost disappeared.. there was no place the ghost could have gone!! the gate was locked and the only exit was the door my friend came from...!
so yea.. i really believe that there's such thing as ghosts...

I believe there are such things are ghosts. If there weren't, why do people from all generations say that they exist?

I don't know if it's just me, but I sometimes think I have seen ghosts before, too. Like if it's during the night and I go into my room and just as I turn around to close the door, I have seen white flashes right across my eyes. Whereas when I'm in the car and it's on the move or at a stop-light, I would "think" I saw someone standing there. Then next second I look, it was gone.

The last time I think I saw one was at my Co-op placement. I heard a noise right behind me and when I turned to look around, nobody was there. Then the door opens and when I looked up, there was nobody outside or inside the library.

Whereas some kid I know, awhile ago, he got quite freaked out because whenever he went into his washroom in his own room, he said he saw a dark shadow hovering nearby. Not his shower. Some guys. Now it's gone. Hopefully.

Oh yea, another one would happen to be my sibs friend, who has been having a major breakdown and became a nervous wreck before it all happened (she happens to be living around the campus where a person did die before!). Once she went back to rez and when she went to look at her reflection in the mirror, there was NO reflection! Then it cracked! Freaky Now she's moved back home and still in a horrible state.

I did my French speech exam essay about "Do ghosts exist?" this year.

my grandpa and his wife are fire people, hes an arson investigator, and she works at the fire department
they said they were driving down the road, and saw smoke from a church,and being fire people, they figured they should check it out,
but when they walked around the church there was nothing there. so they got back in the car, and when they looked back, there were huge puffs of smoke,
so they got out of the car again, and wet back to the back of the church, and there was a cemetary, they said the sokewas going -whoosh- into the ground at the cemetary.
they are going back to see if anyone died or was born on that day.
i didnt believe it, but coming from my grandpa, he doesnt lie. so i dont know wether to believe it or not.
do you believe it? do you have any stories about ghostys that you saw or anything?

wow, that's creepy. There's so many stories and assumptions out there, I'm not sure I believe it all. However, the fact of encountering a ghost scares me!

I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts because I never seen one. But my boyfriend had seen ghosts when he was living in Cambodia.

Yeah. Ofcourse I believe in them. I have pictures where there are "spirts" in them. I have odd things happen, and plus, why wouldn't there be..

I myself can actually see ghosts almost everyday from when I wake up to going to school then coming home. See hundreds of them. About 98 percent of the ghosts I see are friendly and wouldn't do anything. Some ghosts want to pass on to the afterlife (or something like that) so they haunt a location until they find what they looking for.

It some kind of genetic thing I have (great grandfather also was said to see ghosts).

Been seeing it since I was a little kid (and lots of them since I live across the street from a cementary). It not scarey as It was when I was small but it still very wierd with no one else being able to see them.

omg, i read the first page and i was literally getting goosebumps. i am also a believer of ghosts. i believe that they stick around because there are unfinished business and whenever they are ready to leave, they will.

i've had my own experiences before too and it doesn't really scares me anymore, it just takes me by surprise. like, for a while- i had the same reoccuring dream of a little boy. he never talked to me in my dreams but he was just always there. we'd always see each other and i would make little faces to him to get him to laugh but everytime [in my dream], i'd get up close to him, he'd blow a whistle and that would turn out to be my alarm clock waking me up. i did remember that when i walked up to him, i noticed that on his left side- he had a small scar and there was blood on the left side of his neck. then another time [the last time i saw him in my dreams], i was swinging on a swing and he came over and started to push me and i kept telling him to stop but he wouldn't. finally, i jumped off and looked at him and he just smiled and ran off. and then finally, he turned around and waved at me and said "bye" and then he blew his whistle agian and that was when i woke up.. later on, i found out that one of my best friend's had a little son about 4 years old that died in a car accident with his aunt and when i saw the picture, it was him. my mom said that it was probaby because i never got a chance to see him when i was alive, that he came to my dreams because i was his "aunt". and he never got a chance to see me since he was 2.

and then aside from that, there has been numerous times where i can SWEAR i feel somewhere near me but whenever i turn around, there's nothing there. and then, there was another time when i was taking a picture [with my yearbook staff] it was a group picture and the entire time i was there, i felt soo cold! and when we took the picture, there was a bright flash near where i was. we had to crop and play with the picture in photoshop so we could remove the bright flash near me.. everyone was joking around and said that there was a ghost in the gym that day and until this day, i still believe it.

my mom said that we shouldn't be afraid of ghosts or harm them in anyway because they are just people who need help and guidance. and whenever they are finished with their business, they'll go away and hopefully be reborn.

i believe in ghosts. There is one in my daddy's house. She turns off the water and closes doors and moves pictures. She is a nice ghosts...she is just looking out for us.

here is something that happend to me.........

Ok. well i was in the living room watchn a movie
and my parents and my bro where using my computer
in my room. While i was watchn tv i turn to my right
and i see sum one walking in the hallway near my room
but i didn't really pay attencion to it cuz i thought it was my
parents or my bros shadow so i turned back and kept watchn
the movie. It didn't take 7sec. when my mom called me, so i
got up and walkd to my room when i got there my mom asks
me if i hade gone to their bedroom or to the bathroom, when i said
no she said "Oh" then i askd y? then she told me that they saw
sum1 walkn on the hallway then i freakd out and stayd in my
room. (the ghost kinda lookd like my grandma, the way she dressd
and walkd) she died and i saw that person walkn in the hallway
1week after my grandma died.......
