Maybe.
 it's maybe too simple, but i love simplicity. it's really pretty, looks really great. :] But for some reason it feels weird on the right side, but its like a new feeling. that should be good. :] |

You should do some blending at the right side of the image. It's just.. cut off there, as opposed to the rest of your image, which is blurred/etc.
Also, in firefox, I get a horizontal side-scroll. Try using div layers to position it (if you haven't in this design) so that it won't create that horizontal scroll. BY the way, I'm on 1024x768, and other users who are on 800x600 will have to scroll over even more-so. Simple, as someone else stated. |

i think you need to make the blog/area to the right side because it seems off balance because there is nothing on the left side!
 but if you leave the blog on the right, move the middle, background image to the right a little bit because you can't see it under the banner.  it would probably get accepted, though.
