i have like 4 best friends (:! and 3 of them are girls and one is a guy and I think that my guy friend is much better to talk to. Since he can help me out with my boyfriend and all hehe he makes me feel so much better (:!

Some of my closest friends have been guys.
'Course, I must point out that my best friend is also my boyfriend. I've only fallen for a really close guy friend once before, and that was him. Most of my guy friends are like brothers and that would be kind of... eww. |

My best friends a girl.. And I will always love her, end of story. My gf has this deep hatred towards her because of that, its something she will have to get over, and if she can't, then it will probably end. Its about trust. She has to trust me, just like your bf will have to learn to trust you.

My best friend is a guy, and he is my everything. I have known him for the last 15 years. We are so close, and it's nice just to have him around sometimes. It is easy to talk to him about anything, and since he is a guy, he is good with giving me advice about other males. I see no problem in males and females being friends, even though some people say that it will only lead to one thing, but I have not seen that happen, and I doubt it will. My boy understands that I have more male friends than I do female, and he knows that my best friend is a guy, and he really trusts me, because without trust, our relationship would be hell.

well...in my opinion i think that any two people who are best friends with each other n is a guy n a girl then they are eventually bound to have feelings for each other. it may take many many years but thats wat i think. but trust is an important part of the relationship. if there's no trust then it will be hell. trust me i've been there.

Yeah, then again I consider all of my friends my best friends sence I feel I can talk to any of them about anything.
But I'm kind of uncomphertable around them, public school kind of screwed me up.. I was there till 5th grade which in 5th grade and under if you talked or hung out with a guy that either ment you liked him or you were weird and thats just not what you did.. so I was homeschooled in 6th grade, and thats the year in public school when having guy friends was cool *rolls eyes* So I never really grew out of it till this year! Now I have a ton of guy friends *nod* |

I think almost every girl on the planet has experienced the drama that can generate once your best friend ends up being of the opposite sex.
In my opinion, ALMOST in every situation, the friendship is doomed whenever your best friend is the opposite sex. One person always ends up wanting more.
