there is a LOT of racists on Createblog now days...and ni Real life we cant do anything about it...here we can.
what do u think should happen the the people that keep being racist on CB?

they are in humor...i guess cuz they are jokes you can't really do anyhting about it except ignore them =/

but it is in humor. its not considered bashing really. although its disrespectful...its not like they are intending to bash people. they think its funny. they could be that race themselves, its meant as a joke it doesn't mean they are racist. even though its rude they are different people...they haven't done it continuosly..if you find something REALLY offensive pm me

I found that post that Jason made idiotic, but not racist (considering I'm "chink" myself, that post Jason made is therefore idiotic). they're in humor, yes. reading the other posts in the topic, most of them didn't seem really happy about the jokes.

i don't recommend banning them, but i recommend warning them on a post b4 officially warning them a second time if they do it again.

I personally don't find "chink" to be racist. Unless there was some malicious intent behind them in some way. If one of my white people in my posse called me a chink, I'd call them a hick and get on with it.

Why are people so damn sensitive

Think about it realistically. There is no way that you can stop racism. You can always educate people, but will they ever really stop and listen to what you are saying?

I like black people; I think everybody should have one!

Okay, that was kinda inappropriate. But this is the freedom of the press. You can't censor it, especially when it is just done in good humor.

personally, i don't consider those racist. =/
they are just jokes. until the person is calling the black people n1993rs and telling them to pick their cotton, i think it is just ethnic humor.

They are just jokes, for God's sake, lighten the hell up! Can't you differentiate a joke from a racist joke? Sure, they're aimed to make fun of certain races, but they're meant to be taken light-heartedly, meant to be funny because of these stereotypes. These jokes don't CREATE stereotypes, they use current ones and create humour.

So would you stop being so damned-ass serious about everything? People who truly offend others with racism or discrimination WILL be punished, but these jokes aren't exactly the criteria to follow by. Like Jeff (datru katalyst) said in the other thread, if you really have a problem with a joke, either PM the topic starter or a mod, and request for it to be closed, although frankly, these jokes are not truly racist at all, it is just ethnic/cultural humour, as Frankie said.

are they funny? no.

ignore it and it will go away. those people probably arent racist in themselves, they just have very bad sneses of humour
