I dunno if he qualifies as a poet, but Tupac's poems were awesome. He had one called I Cry and it really hit me. He really was an awesome artist.

i also like j. ivy (he was on kanye west's never let you down from college dropout) & malik usef (on do you want to ride from coach carter soundtrack) but i need to hear more of them.. also the lost poets and talib kweli (he was on def poetry jam twice and both his pieces were dope) |
