But I don't get the reasons why they put the security passwords. I mean it's not like our friends will go into our personal stuff like look and feel. If only they get rid of that, everything would be just fine. Hm, I think I should check out the xanga website and see why they put it and if someone's wondering why, I'll try to post it up.

I still kinda not understand what they said, but here you go.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Xanga staff, John said:

Improved Security

We're also launching our new Look and Feel settings under a more secure address: edit.xanga.com.

When you first access the page, you'll be asked to sign in (and sometimes if you haven't been active for a while). As we said earlier, everyone will be more secure but also slightly annoyed and inconvenienced... sorta like going through airport security these days. We'll steadily be moving more editing functions under edit.xanga.com over time, as we continue to increase security on the site.

It's nice if you were using the default settings of Xanga, but since I use the css codes; I don't like it.

It's easier to sort things out. They also have hovers this time so I dont need a code for it. :] I dislike xangas without hovering for some reason. pinch.gif

I'm good with it. Doesnt matter.

I always type in my password again anytime I comment, even though I logged in xanga previously. Every time I close the window, then open a new one and go to xanga.com, It's as if I logged out and I have to sign in again.. So it's no big deal to me. It doesn't look that hard to navigate through. I guess it's more convenient since I don't have to scroll a lot to go to the website states or the javascript module.. Doesn't matter to me.. whistling.gif :P

yah i just checked my xanga when i saw this topic. It's um an interesting change. I like the fact how they have added security, and i guess in the long run it's gonna be nicer and easier to get around. But i loved the old setting and how the Header was right there so if you wanted to change somethan then it wouldn't take forever. lol oh well, i'll get used to it ;)

Nah, i dont dislike it, it's well organize .. especially there is a link for you to customize and that will bring you down whatever you want to edit .. i think it's better then the old one .. i'm not use to the claf yet but hopefully i would enjoy the new looks ..
