I live in Oregon and I am probably going to go to OSU or UO. Only because my parents dont want me to go out of state because its too expensive. But if i do go out of state, I would like to go to NYU. happy.gif

PRATT University- it's one of the top art school in the country, and right smack in the middle of my favorite city, new york. I would already have a place to stay in my 21 year old aunts penthouse apartment.

Juliard- for singing/dancing, hopefully going to manhatten school for the arts will give me a head start

edit://xiMiJix: berklee? are you serious?! I took some highschool classes last summer there. it's amazing

seems like a lot of people in our generation are planning to pursue careers in law.. what attracted you guys to the profession? in fact, whatever field you might want to enter, what attracted you to that field?

Stanford, because I don't feel right going to a UC or out of state. And it's not that far.. plus it's a good school. And it'd blow the shit away from my aunts.

i think that if you are intelligent enough to go to the ivies, have the drive, know what you're getting yourself into, and are willing to be committed to staying for all 4 years and working hard at it, then you should go. just because you're smart enough doesn't mean you have to go. my friend is one of the smartest people i know [and believe me, he tells math jokes. he's a math nerd, and he finished calculus in freshman year] and he chose not to go to an ivy league because he got a full scholarship to another school that was also an extremely good school. okay, sorry, just pointing out that the ivies are not the way to go if it's just for the name, but if you truly want to go, then that's good.

i got into illinois [urbana-champaign] and i got some scholarship money there, so i have an 80% chance of going there. originally i wanted to go to UNC chapel hill but it's extremely hard to get in, especially for out of state students, and i didn't get in, so it looks like i'm going to illinois =] i'm excited =)

Rutgers in New Jersey. It's not ivy league. The school has strong programs in the two majors I'm thinking about. (Psychology and Law)

Besides the majors and how prestige it is...I look at location. I want to have fun in college too. :)

I want to go to the University of Maryland [Its like an hour away from where i live]. Its close to home so i can ask my parents for money alot and also its better than going to Montgomery College [Gosh i really hope i don't have to go there]. Maryland is also a pretty descent college and the best i can get into whistling.gif . I am only in Middle School though so my concern for college is limited -_-;.
