Right now.. honors English, Chem, Modern Hist, and Pre-Calc... it keeps my GPA afloat... prolly be the death of me next year though.

I'm in advanced math, and I did Algebra last year when I was an 8th grader and now I'm in geometry. I also take Computer Application, which is an advanced computer class. I'm part AT, which is an Academically Talented program and I was put in some classes. Thankfully, I'm doing good
 Oh yea it does look good on your record.

im going to have honors science and honors social studies next year..i dont think its going to affect my gpa and make it more higher..im in GT BPA but its not that hard...well for me..and i think being in honors will make ur college application look better..

i'm in honor's math and english (8th grade) it's not that hard, but sometimes you have to really concentrate to understand the stuff, or sometimes there's just a lot of work... but its not that bad

teachers just expect more from you in honors. they feel they can trust you more and i'd say you get more homework. you get use to it

Well, I was for the first marking period. I was never (and never want to be) in Honors Society. I had the basic honors. In my district...
basic honors-all As and Bs distinguished honors- all As and 1 B Last marking period I had a C in French. So shoot me. I mean, I did really bad on most of the tests and cheated as much as I could (  ) but.... sh!t happens, you know?

honors isn't too hard, but if you wanna jump from a regular aide class to a honors based class, hold on tight, cause theres alot of difference. honors has alot more work than regular cause when i'm in class, i look at the schedules and compare them and we(honors) are like a month ahead or so?

They don't have honors classes at my school, but they had gifted classes in middle school, which I was in.

im in honors but my teachers told me that colleges look at grades not honors classes and ppl with the best grades get the scholarships

I'm only in Honors English this year, but next year I'm taking all Honors. All the rest are academic/college prep. I think it would probably look good.. and as someone said, it helps the GPA. I don't find it hard at all, the only one that might be is Honors Science (Science Fair..).

yes, unfortunately. i have half gifted, half honors, because i cant do math
but no i cant even take gifted lit next year, or IB as i intended (not because i dont qualify, but because my school is run by dumbfucks) so ill be in honors which will suck incredibly and ill be taking AP history instead of gifted |
