I'd say make the blog bigger to fill in the empty space more. It's low quality around the words too, not just the pictures. I like the idea though.

yea the image quality is really low... did u do it in MS Paint.. cuz when u save .jpgs in that the quality gets hacked. Anyway, congrats on ur first. Gotta start somewhere..
