Well maybe I'm just left brain retarded, but I can't seem to get a simple code right. Yes yes yes-- I've read the tutorials... But I'm derermined to learn. I want to learn to code a xanga with an extra module spot. I don't think there was one for that anyway.

Anyone willing to help me learn?

Well, one tip I can give you is to place code for the extra div before the blog div's code. Then position the extra div, and after that position the blog div.

I'd prefer they allow html.

either get complete custom modules or use divs as missmata suggested. If you have multiple divs, it's better to put them within another one

html IS allowed i think. just not javascript or anything like that.

have you tried making a layout and coding it using the tutorial? if so, then you should have no problem. its really not that hard, just the first time. the first time it will be uh..challenging but its more fun and easier to do later on.

I've tried a few different times... the blog always ends up sorta separated from the backround or whatever. And I don't think there was a tutorial for positioning extra modules. *Sigh. I think I'm gonna just have to rely on the skins section here.

I'm not sure what you mean? Could you show me an example?
