ok ... so we've been preparing for the gepa for the last couple of months. my math teacher has been trying to cover everything we've learned from 5th grade and up...so when he tried to explain this [rather quickly], i didnt quite get it.

If the value of y-coordinate is 16, what value of the x-coordinate would make the inequality y < 5x - 3 true?

a. 1
b. 2
c. 3.
d. 4

could someone please explain how to get the answer? im rather confused...
