For some reason I find that I'm becoming closer with my cB friends than with my friends offline. Is that so wrong?

ahha no. people are people. sometimes its easier to become closer to certain people...more than others. on or offline. i think it's more like...online you don't feel like you'll be judged though. around some people in real life, you have to hold back sometimes

Nah, It's not weird/wrong/anything else. I think that it's because you can't ever really see the person so the frienship is not so superficial and such. I'm not sure if that makes sense but like, your real life friends are your friends mostly because you are in the same classes, the same "group", etc. Whereas online there is not really any of that therefore when you start friendships online, they can become really great ones because it's more based on personality and interests. Yeah, I still think that made no sense. Also like iheartsimba said, there is the issue of holding things back. Online you don't really hold things back because you're not going to see the person whereas when you talk to a real life friend you watch what you say because you'll see that person tomorrow. Anyways, I think I'll edit this later to make it make more sense.

i agree pretty much. its just i suppose the comfort level thing...easier to converse online sometimes than in real life, y'know? nothing wrong with that.

My friends are also pissing me off too. I'm becoming attached to CB but not the members since I still don't know anyone as a friend. And it's nice that people here don't piss me off either except for a few. But that's all.

I don't have many friends offline... ermm.gif lol

Although yes sometimes I do find myself becoming closer and closer with a selected few on createBlog, I still am closer with quite a few offline any way.

when you 'talk' in writing you rinhibitions are somewhat lower, its easier to achieve a relaxed friendship more quicly. an dyou know you have a clean slate when you come on line, no one can drag up things from your past

im much more comfortable around people online, its easier. i like a lot of cb people better than the people i know offline right now. we were discussing people at lunch today, and i realized why i hate everyone in my grade so much. people here are generally far more pleasant

Psh no. What are you? Some kind of freak? :kidding: No, I actually get along with more people from createBlog than girls in my school. Or just people in my area in general. On createBlog, no one really...categorizes you or stereotypes you, which is great because then you get to really know a person for who they are. Eh. Then again, I have like...one createBlog friend (Sammi); therefore, I guess I don't have many friends period. mellow.gif
