Hey, today was the annual Great Aloha Run in Hawaii. I know not too many people here live in Hawaii, but tons of people come from other places for this event. I think this year had around 25,000 participants. Its a 8.15 mile run that donates to charity and things like that. Anyways, I was just wondering if any of you folks ran it? If so how did you do? I came in a little under an hour.

No, but I have done a few triathlons. I competed in one triathlon in Florida and came in 2nd overall (about 700 participants). If I remember correctly I think it was 1 mile swim, 14 mile bike, 3 mile run. My time was under an hour too (around 50 minutes, I think?)...this was about two years ago and I was in a lot better shape. I'd love to get back into triathlons when I'm able to.

Wooooow Hilary that's awesome :D Did you win anything? Just curious. _smile.gif

I've ran the American Heart Walk twice..
But that sounds cool. Great Aloha Run. I would probably participate if I didn't live in California.
