i saw that movie about a year ago then watched it again a few months ago. i thought it was kinda scary, freaking 7th graders doing crack and having sex and such, and the cutting parts were kind of disgusting. i thought it was still a good movie though.

i dont think it stereotypes 13 year olds because its a true story. i read about the movie somewhere and one of the girls in the movie (she's on the cover of the movie..not the main girl) wrote this and its about her

I want to see it. I don't know why, but I think it looks interesting. I wasn't like that when i was 13, and I know its sterotyping, but I wanna see it.

QUOTE(x__forever @ Aug 28 2004, 12:34 AM)
i watched that movie, and i thought it was amazing.  some parts of it were really shocking, but overall, it was portrayed really well.  and this is a true story too.  the girl who was the "bad girl" in real life played the "good girl" who gave in to peer pressure.

oh my goodness people, this isn't a true story, it's based on a true story so most of it is probably made up, and it was co-written by the 13 year old...she didn't write the whole thing

Sorry for bringing up an old topic, but I'm watching it right now. So far so good. My parents wouldn't let me rent it, so I just snuck it in the pile of movies I already had selected.
