... yea

you need to do cardiovascular activities, like running, riding bicycle, etc. your heart rate needs to be i believe in the 140s and higher when it starts to burn off calories which burns off fat. doing sit ups just tighens the muscles UNDERNEATH the skin, it doesnt remove the fat above it. doing that you must do cardovascular activities. good luck (i have the same problems too, so dont feel discouraged) biggrin.gif

unless you already have a flat stomach, than yea. you have to burn all that fat off before that muscle shows ... the six pack.

What are you doing now? Sets and rep wise? I wouldnt advise you to go to a gym not yet... Just start jogging or running build stamina then watch what you eat... Then start jump roping or situps or crunches... Dont forget teh obliques... If it still dont work hook up with a personal traininer at a gym

you need to eat healthy, do 50-100 crunches every night. be careful when your belly is gone because you might gain the weight back very quickly.

crunches won't do anything in removing the size of your stomach!! cardiovascular exercise does .. you need to get your heart pumping to burn the calories which burns the stored fat/sugar in your body which is used for energy. doing crunches just tones the muscle UNDERNEATTTHhhh

It could be stress. I mean, haven't you seen that commercial about the stress hormone that traps fat around the middle? lol...

But really, maybe you should see a doctor about it.

eat more moderate portions (like not tiny ones then huge ones). sit ups always tone my stomach so i dont know whats up with that... huh.gif i usually do them before i go to sleep (about 150 or so, in sets of 25-60). maybe try other things. i heard those certain excercise ball activities help you tone your stomach.
