Homeless, definition of the term? Options

Well, I have been taking crap from my dad my entire life. I mean, he beats the hell out of me. Just basically metally and physically abuses me every chance he can get. So now Im 18, and i just left the house. And when i say that i left, i mean it. Meaning, i have the clothes on my back and a little money saved up from work.

Im living with a friend right now, and we're trying to get an appartment and yada yada. But it just seems like we cant move fast enough. Hist parents told us yesterday that we have a week to get out. Damn. Kicked out of 2 houses in one week. Thats gotta be some kinda record.

Anyways, we're pretty much homeless. I slept at a hotel last night. Well, technically i didnt sleep. But you know what i mean.

Blah, geez, im really rambling on right now. Im just really really stressed out right now, and typing this stuff just makes me feel like im telling someone.

The reason I am on the computer is because i am at work. Its not that i dont have money, its just that i cant seem to find an appartment fast enough. I mean, time is running out.

And as for me not being on the streets, when this little bit of cash runs out.... i may be.

oh gosh, i'm so sorry to hear that. but yeah try to relax firstly, and as hard as it is, i suppose the toughest part is finding a place.

so if you run out of time, go to a cheap motel or something until you can find an apartment...

Anyway, you can always try finding a relative who can take you in for now. Plus, ask around work for an apartment... or perhaps you can stay at a cheap inn for a while. There's one I know of that's $6 a night. I'm not sure if I'm too helpful... but ... I do hope everything goes well for you.

talking about it may help you cope emotionally, but face it, you're hopeless if you don't take responsibility. first of all, i highly recommend for you to enroll in college. knowledge goes a long way, and it's just practical. education = stability, and that's what you want, right?

well...first you should try as hard as you can to find a place to stay...you shouldnt waste all your money on motels because most appartments require a first months and last months rent...and a deposit...maybe you should look into staying at a homeless shelter for a while until you can save enough money...some homeless shelters have programs where you can stay there for a few months for low cost if you have job... just look into the shelters in your area...it is better than sleeping on the street. good luck...

get a cheap place to live first....

second look at colleges. that may sound like a bad idea since you don't have much money, but colleges give aid according to how much money you have. you may be suprised.

don't think you can't do it. it's not impossible and i'm sure you'd have a much easier life with a good job (using your college degree)
