I'm considering buying xanga premium since the advertising banner gets on my nerves and I'm hoping there will be more of a variety of coding that I could do on my xanga.
I know with a paid account I can use div positioning, but can you also use pop-up windows? Not those windows alert pop-ups, but these kind of pop-ups. Does anyone know? |

I believe you can do the same things with non-premium. You can use Divs in non-premium. Also there's not many resources for making layouts in premium (except for the one provided by xanga). If you don't know much about html and css then making layouts in premium could be harder for you.

That's weird, when I had my free trial of premium the div positioning worked and once it ran out it didn't. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...

You can't use the absolute tag in non-premium... only static tag in the Divs. But you can use Divs in non-premium... don't you notice all the Div layouts in the skins section.

I just got Premium for a month to fool around with layouts without jumping through hoops. Looks good, but whenever you view or post a comment it reverts to the old layout. Anyone know how to fix this?

i'd suggest you just keep regular xanga.you can still use DIVS,just put your coding in your custom header. also if you want to get rid of the xanga banner, use an admover

premium is really easy if you know how to make a webpage already... if you can't make a xanga skin though, premium will be harder
