BASE HREF!!!, uhh... xanga.com? Options

Well i have this code and in order to work it i have to change the "base href" and if anyone knows what that does.. it changes all the links to start with what the base href is... is there a way to CONTAIN the base HREF so it doesnt change all my xanga's links?

here's my code.. the question is HOW CAN I CONTAIN THE BASE HREF SO IT ONLY AFFECTS MY CODE AND NOT MY XANGA.. i tried changing the base href back to www.xanga.com but that doesnt work.. i dont want to change the href's cuz that's a whole nother html problem but yeah.. what do i do.. tables or what?

BTW.... that's a PureVolume Music Player.. it works but it changes all the HREF.. lol.

Edit: this might need to be moved to webdesign.... but it's for my xanga.. idk.
