This is cool... but I need some help? Options

Well errrr... I think it's cool, at least, heehee. But anyway, I'm making my xanga look sort of like a live journal (yeah, don't laugh ). I just thought it was interesting. But anyway, I just need a little more help. Here's the site (it's my test site):

You see the entry boxes? Well, basically, I want to move those over to the right a bit. They tend to stay close to my left modules and I don't know how to change that. I tried the <div align="left"> thing and that didn't work either. If anyone is familiar with html, and knows how to change this, I would be VERY appreciative.

And also, one more thing. This is really just a petty detail, so if you don't know, that's okay. You see how the left module is just a little higher up than my entries? I'm also trying to change that, and have no clue how, or even if I can. If knows how to do that, I would be appreciative as well.
