Disrespect from... Options

Discussion: Disrespect and situations like this!

I recently joined a forum called Bijoue, and honestly it's the most disrespectful place I've ever been to. They had theses "unwritten" rules about not having images in signatures so I get a bunch of snide comments in my intro thread about how they don't allow it. I can respect that rule but there were none at all listed until I brought it out on the table on a Suggestion thread heathasm created about the image sigs. I mean they didn't take the time to discuss it, they just whined, "OH LITTLE 30x10 SIGS WOULD TAKE UP LOADING TIME LIKE OMG AND THEY ANNOYING" They ended up closing the thread telling us to stop whining about it when all we were doing was discussing. The thread wasn't even up 3 days before it got locked and there weren’t even many replies but I mean hey that's what the suggestion forum is for right?

On my forum it's about the members since that's who makes up the forum but it was different there. I even pmed an admin and told them exactly how I felt but I just kept getting silly warnings then all of the sudden the admin said, "We have rules now go look!" I ended up getting banned; they didn't even take the time to try to work things out with me. It was just like "I've never been to a forum with so much disrespect, blah blah" then BAN... I may have overreacted a bit but I really do not like to be walked all over by snobs... but it really did irritate me but this whole situation just made want to make my own interest forum even better for my members. ^^;
