problems with opacity, tables being cut off Options

My sister asked me to help her out with the html for her myspace, and after a lot of trial and error, we just decided to use the MyGen code generator. Because of her background image and the color she picked for the background of her tables, she wants her opacity set to about 75%. The code generated by MyGen previews perfectly, but when I put it into her myspace, the opacity doesn't work. This is what I got from MyGen:

her "about me" and "interests" boxes get cut off about halfway through the box, like they're not even there.

So basically, I was wondering if anyone knew the cause of the problem or how to fix it. Any help at all would be appreciated!
